Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milat loads up on a big right hand but Mara slips the punch.
Mara throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mara. Milat does a little dance to reset his feet.
Milat lands with a hook. Mara tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A big left from Milat misses.
Milat takes a jab right on the kisser.
Milat misses with a shot to the body
and Mara counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Milat walks into a stiff left hand from Mara.
Mara ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Milat moves away.
Milat misses with a body shot
and Mara counters with a nice body shot.
Milat takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mara throws a left and a right that both miss
and Milat counters with a right hand to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Milat rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Mara counter with a right hand.
Milat misses with a left hand
and Mara counters with a nice uppercut.
Nice cross by Mara.
Milat is rocked!
Mara jabs Milat to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oh Milat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Milat walks straight into a right hand from Mara - that's dropped him! Mara jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Milat from any more punishment! Milat complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Matthew Mara!
