Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Balls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeff Ko!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balls misses with a right hand
and Ko counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Jeff Balls has been cut.
Balls throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ko rattles Balls with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Balls tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Ko dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Balls stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jeff Ko!
