PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny Peruzzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dallas Vandal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vandal is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blame Game - Kanye West. Peruzzi has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vandal throws a body punch but Peruzzi moves out of range.
Peruzzi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Vandal throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Peruzzi counters with a nice body shot.
Vandal shoots in for a double leg but Peruzzi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Peruzzi avoids a kick to the body.

Vandal closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Peruzzi did well to prevent Vandal getting side control.
Vandal is controlling the pace.

Vandal stands up from half guard.
Peruzzi is breathing heavily.
Vandal just misses with a punch to the body.

Vandal moves into the clinch.

Vandal has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Peruzzi uses from the top position.
Vandal is adopting a defensive guard.
Peruzzi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vandal on the ground.

Vandal is looking to sinch up a triangle. Peruzzi throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Vandal's body to avoid the submission. Vandal has instead reached around Peruzzi's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Vandal arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
