Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Mozee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carvalho comes to the cage accompanied by Vida Bandida. Daniel Mozee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mozee pinned against the cage. Mozee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Carvalho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mozee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carvalho.

A decent looking cross lands there for Mozee.
Mozee throws a lazy right hand but Carvalho sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Carvalho closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mozee circles away.

Carvalho feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mozee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carvalho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mozee is looking to stand up but Carvalho isn't so interested in that idea.

Carvalho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carvalho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Carvalho thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Carvalho darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Mozee lands a left and a right that send Carvalho crashing to the mat, dazed. Mozee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Carvalho is rocked!
Carvalho walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Mozee swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
