The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tornado closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silvia to the mat! Silvia manages to get full guard.

Silvia is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tornado trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tornado trying to control but Silvia is working from the bottom.
Tornado might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Tornado passes Silvia's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Tornado is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silvia defends it well.
Tornado seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Tornado is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silvia is just riding it out for now. Tornado eventually gives up the hold.

Silvia is looking for a triangle but Tornado pushes his legs off easily.

Silvia has his foot on Tornado's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tornado works his way back into a safe position though.

Tornado drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tornado jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tornado wants to control from the top but Silvia keeps moving.

Silvia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tornado doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tornado manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Silvia is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Tornado is staying active.

Silvia has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tornado is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Silvia is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tornado pulls his head out easily.
