Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnaud Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold. Savage has chosen BLUNT- "The Iron Maiden" as his entrance music. John McClane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Savage ducks under a wild hook from McClane.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Savage.
McClane catches Savage with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The fight stays on the outside here - McClane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Savage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McClane swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McClane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Savage on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and McClane makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Savage bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
McClane is looking to regain half guard here but Savage keeps moving and retains side control.
McClane avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Savage.

McClane is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Savage working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. McClane turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Savage off and cradles McClane's limp body as Savage celebrates with his corner.
