Gusarov moves into range and clinches up with Pasquale.
Pasquale is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Gusarov misses with a knee strike.
Pasquale is trying to maintain a safe position but Gusarov gets an underhook and turns Pasquale into the cage.
Gusarov lands a nice elbow.
Gusarov lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Gusarov just misses with a elbow thrown towards Pasquale's brow.

Pasquale wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gusarov has him pressed against the cage.

Gusarov jerks Pasquale's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Pasquale drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Gusarov goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Gusarov because Pasquale was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
