Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carr tries to land a front kick but Martin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Martin digs a good body shot into Carr's ribs.

and Carr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Randall Martin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Martin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Randall Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martin, pushing him back against the cage.
Martin is trying to break the clinch but Carr is controlling him.
Martin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Carr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Martin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Carr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Martin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Martin throws a combination that misses
and Carr counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Martin is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Carr tries to clinch but Martin moves out of range.
Martin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carr on the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Elijah Carr will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Carr counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Carr misses with a knee strike.
Carr throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Martin blocks it with crossed arms.

Carr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Martin lands with a kick to the temple. Carr shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Martin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Martin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Martin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Carr.
Carr shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Carr misses with a low kick.
Martin has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Martin tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Carr scores with the left hand. Martin knows he should have avoided that one.
No joy there for Martin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Martin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Martin throws a right and a left that Carr avoids nicely.

Martin throws a hook to the side of Carr's head but Carr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

enabling Martin to counter with a crisp jab.
Martin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Martin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Carr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Martin checks a leg kick.

Martin avoids the body shot from Carr.
Elijah Carr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Carr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martin.

Martin swings for the body but Carr moves out of range.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Carr shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Martin napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Martin's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Martin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Carr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Martin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Carr.
Carr is looking to clinch.
Carr lands a front kick.
Carr's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Carr duly obliges.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Carr throws a nice looking combination but Martin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Martin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carr.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randall Martin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Carr with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Martin to score with a decent uppercut.

Carr does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Carr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Martin counters with a series of strikes. Carr will be more careful next time no doubt.

Martin throws a nice looking combination but Carr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Carr shoots in and gets a takedown into Martin's guard.

and Carr counters by moving into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Martin's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Carr lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Martin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Martin moves out of range as Carr throws a body kick.
Carr misses with a kick to the body
and Martin counters with a right hand to the body.

and Carr counters with a nice body kick.
Martin throws a shot from downtown. Carr moves away and avoids it.
Carr misses with a series of wild punches.
Carr walks into a straight right hand from Martin.

Carr closes the distance and clinches.

Martin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Carr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carr showed some decent athleticism there.
Carr stops Martin from getting back to his feet.

Carr is working for a submission of some sort.
Carr wants to free his trapped foot but Martin is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
Randall Martin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Martin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
