PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janek Banek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Pierre comes to the cage accompanied by "Ca Fait Mal (Remix)" by La Fouine (feat. Sefyu & Soprano). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Banek fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with St Pierre, pushing him back against the cage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
St Pierre shoots in looking for a takedown. Banek tries to sprawl out of it but St Pierre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Banek manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
