I think Price might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Behind Closed Doors - Rise Against. Hawk Price has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hawk Price!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuck Huerta!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Price takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Chuck Huerta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huerta thuds a left hand into Price's body.
Huerta throws a right and a left that both miss.
Huerta lands with a shot to the body.
Jab by Huerta.
Price walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A jab from Huerta finds it's way through Price's defenses.


It looks like Hawk Price has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No luck for Price with that takedown attempt.
Huerta misses with a combination

and Price counters with a takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Price wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Huerta, who protects the arm well.
Huerta keeping his opponent close.

Price working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huerta is trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Price tries for a kimura but Huerta is defending well.

Price looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Huerta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Price. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Huerta is trying to control Price's posture but Price avoids it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Price working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Huerta tries to bench press Price off him but Price keeps the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Price is trying to get an arm triangle but Huerta is defending well.
The strikes coming from Price are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Price thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Chuck Huerta dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hawk Price's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Price takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Huerta scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Huerta misses with a straight left.
Huerta bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Price's head.
Price drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Huerta cracks Price with an open hand slap.
Huerta is pawing at Price, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Price's nose. Price is badly hurt! Huerta pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Price tries desperately to hold on but Huerta is relentless in his assault! As Price receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Huerta away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Huerta!
