Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ames scores with a hook.

Maguire tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ames paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ames uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Maguire.
Ames tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ames swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Maguire.
Ames with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ames lands a head kick. Maguire smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ames cracks Maguire with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ames scores with a jab to the jaw.
Maguire fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Ames counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ames scores with a leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Maguire crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ames - the referee stops the clock and Maguire gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ames. Maguire manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ames throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Ames lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Maguire has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ames.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ames throws a combination. Maguire tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Ames lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ames is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Ames looks to land a combination. Maguire sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Donk. Ames catches Maguire right on the button with a cross.

Maguire has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ames finds it's way round the side to connect with Maguire's head.

Nice uppercut lands for Ames. That snapped Maguire's head back.

and Ames counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Maguire thinking.

Maguire takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Ames counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Ames connects with a good right hand that stumbles Maguire. Maguire circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ames jabs Maguire right on the nose. Maguire blinks but takes it well.

Ames circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Maguire drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Ames follows Maguire to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
