The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - carrano looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
belfort tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but carrano paws at him with a jab and circles away.
carrano shoots in looking for a takedown but belfort manages to keep the fight standing, pushing carrano's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
belfort gets in close and instigates a clinch.
belfort gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
carrano looks like he's trying to stand up.
belfort is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! carrano is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
