Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luck Chidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Poppins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chidell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Chidell gets to his feet - Poppins follows without any prompting.
Horrible takedown by Poppins or perhaps it was just good defense by Chidell which made him look bad.

Poppins closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chidell circles away.

and Chidell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Poppins's guard now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Chidell wanted to stand there but Poppins had control of the position.
