Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyota Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Machida tries a head kick but it misses.
Machida gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lawler steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Machida. That one must have hurt.
Machida throws a head kick that half lands.
No joy there for Lawler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lawler takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The fighters circling - Lawler throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Machida gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lawler.
Lawler lands with an overhand left.
Machida pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Machida with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lawler to score with a decent uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lawler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Machida misses with a head kick.
Lawler throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lawler on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Machida tries to clinch up but Lawler circles away and keeps his distance.
A left and a right from Lawler both land. Nice combination.

Machida is rocked!
Lawler drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Machida right on the button. Machida goes down! Lawler follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Lawler gets the win via TKO!
