The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anvil throws a combination that misses
and Liddell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Achilles Anvil has been cut.
Anvil throws the left hand but Liddell avoids the punch easily.
Anvil misses with a double jab
and Liddell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Anvil throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Anvil throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Anvil lands a lovely overhand right.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Anvil chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Anvil tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Liddell was well out of range. Poor timing from Anvil.
Anvil cracks Liddell with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Liddell misses with a takedown
and Anvil counters with a nice leg kick.
Anvil ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Liddell looks gassed!
Anvil lands with a nice combination. Liddell backs away looking to recover.
Anvil lands with a nice body punch.

Anvil lands with a big left! Liddell is wobbled badly! Anvil comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Liddell to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
