Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson tries for a takedown but West circles away easily
and West counters with a nice uppercut.
West bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jonson's head backwards.

It looks like Carl Jonson has been cut.
West fails with an attempt to clinch.

and West counters with a slapping leg kick.

West throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jonson was covering up waiting for the punch and West finishes the takedown easily into guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Will West hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

West scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

West changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jonson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

West is looking to take a break and control but Jonson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
West in side control, just content to control the action for now.
West tries to score with some ground and pound. Jonson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

West is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jonson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jonson regains half guard there - taking advantage of West's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
West is trying to control the action in half guard but Jonson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jonson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. West defends it nicely.
West tries to clinch up but Jonson circles away and keeps his distance.
