The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan misses with a straight left.

Monsoon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Morgan was covering up waiting for the punch and Monsoon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Monsoon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Monsoon prevents Morgan from getting back to his feet.
Monsoon wants to control from the top but Morgan keeps moving.
Monsoon is looking to advance position but Morgan has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Morgan is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Monsoon is trying to escape the mount.

Morgan get's back to his feet.
Monsoon throws a left and a right that both miss

and Morgan counters with a nice right hand that sends Monsoon toppling to the canvas! Monsoon scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Morgan finish him?!
Monsoon shoots in for a takedown but Morgan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Monsoon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Morgan counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
