Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hak Hak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rich Omega acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hak Hak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rich Omega!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Omega gets a clinch.
Hak scores with a knee to the head.


It looks like Rich Omega has been cut.

Omega manages to break the clinch.
Hak Hak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hak tries for a takedown but Omega circles away easily

so Omega counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hak is trying to control the position but Omega postures up.
Omega throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hak is looking to stand up but Omega isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hak bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Omega's guard.
Hak prevents Omega from getting back to his feet.
Hak cracks Omega with a solid left hand.

Omega utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hak trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Hak has gone for a leg lock! Omega slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hak's guard.

Hak has his feet on Omega's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Omega shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hak pinned against the cage. Hak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Omega is trying to get an arm triangle but Hak is defending well.
Hak is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Omega has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Omega wants to stand but Hak is controlling his arm.

Omega postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hak is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Omega has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Omega in side control lands a decent elbow.
Hak tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Omega wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hak takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Omega wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hak keeps working.

Omega scores with punches from side control.
Omega cracks Hak with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Hak is trying to get back to his feet.

Omega stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Omega clinches with his opponent.
Omega with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hak wants to stall.
A nice left hand lands by Omega.
Omega throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Haks head.
Omega lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Omega closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hak is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Omega asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Omega really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Omega is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hak is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Omega can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hak missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Hak loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rich Omega is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hak would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Hak is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Rich Omega comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Omega has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
