Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rigan Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Richards might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Into the Fire. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Machado missing with a left hand there. Richards was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Machado throws the left hand but Richards avoids the punch easily.
Machado digs a good body shot into Richards's ribs.

Machado swings for the body but Richards moves out of range.
Machado moves away from the strike by Richards.
Machado keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Richards.
Richards misses with a double jab
and Machado counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Richards moves out of range of the strikes.
Richards takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Machado 's jab looks to have found its range, popping Richards under the eye.
It looks like Mickey Richards has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Machado digs a good hook to Richards's body.
Machado throws a hook but Richards blocks it.
Richards misses with a hook
and Machado counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Richards!
Richards is rocked!
Richards is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machado looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Richards trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Machado jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Richards manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Machado tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Richards is not content to let Machado control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Richards tries to escape but Machado is in control.
Machado works to advance to full mount. Richards defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Machado takes Richards's back.
Richards looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Richards is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Machado gets his way!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Machado has his arm under Richards's chin here. Game over son! Machado squeezes tightly and Richards is forced to tap out!
