The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch but Hautz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sanchez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sanchez shoots and misses
and Hautz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hautz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Sanchez. No joy for Hautz on that attempt.
Sanchez scores a takedown into full mount!
Hautz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sanchez lands a big shot there that rocks Hautz but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hautz wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Sanchez.
Hautz manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Sanchez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Sanchez thows an elbow strike that misses. Hautz gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Sanchez doesn't seem too bothered but Hautz quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Sanchez is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Sanchez really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
