Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva shoots in but Marcel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Da Silva throws an off balance right hand
and Marcel cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Marcel closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Da Silva is trying to break the clinch but Marcel is controlling him.
Da Silva tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Da Silva takes a knee to the side of the body.
Marcel lands an elbow that stopped Da Silva in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Bruno Da Silva has been cut.

Da Silva breaks from the clinch.

Da Silva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Da Silva lands in his opponent's guard.
Da Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marcel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Da Silva is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Marcel has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Da Silva is looking to defend but Marcel has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Da Silva! Marcel pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Da Silva taps out and this one is all over!
