PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ashe Corven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fast Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Corven might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Escape. Fast Dude is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dude throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dude misses with a hook
and Corven counters with a nice uppercut.
Corven keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dude throws a right hand that misses
and Corven counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Corven closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dude quickly recovers to half guard.
Dude trying to hold on to Corven's head to control him but Corven postures up.
Dude is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Corven jumps into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Corven passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dude!

Dude has left one of his arms exposed and Corven doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Dude screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
