Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ty Lenol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Invasion of the Bodysnatcher. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lenol avoids the body shot from Peterson.
Lenol ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A shot to the body from Lenol misses
and Peterson counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Ty Lenol has been cut.
Lenol ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Peterson moves away.
Lenol tries to close the distance and clinch up but Peterson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lenol darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lenol scores with a hook to the body. Peterson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Peterson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ty Lenol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Peterson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lenol catches Peterson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Peterson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lenol throws a lazy right hand but Peterson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Peterson counters with a head kick.
Lenol swings for the body but Peterson moves out of range.
Lenol lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lenol lands a left and a right that send Peterson crashing to the mat, dazed. Lenol thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Peterson is rocked!
Lenol fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Peterson is still on wobbly legs! Can Lenol finish him?
Peterson looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lenol pushes Peterson up against the cage in a clinch.
Peterson is trying to break the clinch but Lenol has him pressed against the cage.
Peterson seems to have recovered his senses.
Lenol has picked Peterson up - he's going for a ride! Lenol dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Peterson wants to sweep here but Lenol controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lenol throws a strike but Peterson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lenol lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Peterson!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lenol cracks Peterson with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
