The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kings doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Szczerek counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
kings tries for a takedown but Szczerek circles away easily
letting Szczerek counter with a right hand.

Szczerek looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for kings!

Szczerek goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now kings is on top in guard.
Szczerek manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Szczerek is going oldschool here, as he tries to force kings to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so kings shrugs it off.

Szczerek goes for an armbar but he's not got it… kings turns into him and now he's in Szczerek's guard.
Szczerek has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Szczerek is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and kings defends well.
Szczerek is adopting a defensive guard.
kings really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Szczerek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

kings has gone for a leg lock! Szczerek slips out almost immediately though and dives into kings's guard.

Szczerek is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
