PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TheMegaMan GameMaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). TheMegaMan GameMaster told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
GameMaster tries for a takedown but Garcia circles away easily
and Garcia counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Garcia has hold of GameMaster's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and GameMaster manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
That kick from Garcia tenderised GameMaster's leg. GameMaster is trying to keep his angry face on.

Garcia throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! GameMaster has his hands clasped together but Garcia breaks the hold and GameMaster is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Garcia!
