Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ma Chao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Wax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wax has chosen Never Quit as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wax shoots in and gets a takedown into Chao's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Chao throws a strike but Wax rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Chao is looking to stand up but Wax isn't so interested in that idea.

Wax changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chao tries to avoid it but Wax manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chao to the ground. Chao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ma Chao showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chao, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
