Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fleegle Bananasplits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Mugabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bananasplits kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is call to prayer. Mugabe has chosen The Zimbabwean National Anthem as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bananasplits will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mugabe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bananasplits moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bananasplits drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Mugabe takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bananasplits postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Bananasplits goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mugabe turns into him and now he's in Bananasplits's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mugabe gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Mugabe throws a series of strikes that have Bananasplits backpedaling.

It looks like Fleegle Bananasplits has been cut.
Bananasplits uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mugabe.

Bananasplits shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mugabe as he jumps to the side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mugabe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Bananasplits closes the distance and clinches up with Mugabe, looking for a takedown. Bananasplits pushes Mugabe against the cage but Mugabe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bananasplits shoots in and gets a takedown into Mugabe's guard.

Mugabe is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Mugabe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bananasplits.

Mugabe drops Bananasplits with a beautiful combination! Bananasplits stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mugabe is looking for the KO!

Mugabe punishes Bananasplits's body with a nice straight punch.
Oh Bananasplits is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mugabe throws a shot to the body.
Bananasplits get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Bananasplits stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Mugabe runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
