Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ignatius Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Reilly drives through and clinches with Wright against the cage.
Wright tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reilly just stands there and leans against the cage.
Reilly lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Sid Wright has been cut.
Wright managing to block the knees to the body from Reilly.
Still in the clinch, Reilly scores with a nice short uppercut.
Reilly pushes Wright back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Reilly comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Reilly tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Reilly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Reilly counters with a low kick, right behind Wright 's knee.

Reilly lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wright's sensitive parts.
Wright looks gassed!

Wright darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Reilly is controlling Wright's trapped leg to prevent Wright from advancing to side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Reilly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wright moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Reilly counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Reilly lands an elbow that stopped Wright in his tracks for a moment.

That has opened up Sid Wright's cut even more.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Wright has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Sid Wright's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Wright pulls guard.
Reilly postures up.
Wright looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Reilly puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
It looks like Reilly is going to stand back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Reilly counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Wright takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Wright throws a right hand that misses
and Reilly counters with a thumping low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Reilly throws a good cross that connects.
Wright is breathing heavily.
Reilly fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wright has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Reilly, right into the meat.

Reilly feints and then cracks Wright's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wright down.
Reilly throws a front kick that sends Wright stumbling back into the cage.
A left lands for Reilly.

Reilly lands a big head kick that sends Wright tumbling to the mat! Reilly takes a step backwards and waves Wright back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wright is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sid Wright's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
