Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rey Destroyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Honda Shigeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honda Shigeno is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Honda Shigeno!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shigeno darts in and clinches Destroyer up against the cage.
Destroyer wants a takedown.

Destroyer pulls guard effortlessly.
Destroyer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Destroyer has his hands on Shigeno's head, controlling the position.
Destroyer wants to sweep here but Shigeno controlling him for the moment.

Shigeno controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Shigeno doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shigeno takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shigeno closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Destroyer misses with a few strikes there.
Shigeno tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Destroyer swivels and escapes.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Destroyer closes the distance and clinches.
Shigeno goes for a takedown in the clinch but Destroyer prevents it.
Rey Destroyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Honda Shigeno.
Destroyer wants a takedown but no success here.
Shigeno gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Rey Destroyer has been cut.

Destroyer jumps into guard, dragging Shigeno to the mat.
Destroyer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Shigeno is bucking up trying to escape but Destroyer cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Destroyer lands a big shot there that rocks Shigeno but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Shigeno tries to hold on but Destroyer pushes him away.
Shigeno really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Destroyer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Destroyer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Shigeno is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Destroyer is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Shigeno is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Shigeno flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Destroyer anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Shigeno and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Destroyer slips an arm under Shigeno chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Destroyer has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Destroyer is squeezing on Shigeno like an anaconda would it's prey. Shigeno fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
