And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Africanus swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Tobin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Africanus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tobin lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Scipio Africanus has been cut.
Tobin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Tobin stuffs the takedown.
Africanus throws a lazy uppercut
and Tobin counters with a left to the body.
A right-left combo lands from Tobin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Good leg kick by Tobin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Africanus is breathing heavily.
Tobin forces Africanus back against the cage and clinches.
Tobin lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Tobin lands with a light punch inside.
Tobin breaks from the clinch.
Africanus falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tobin counters with a good low kick that Africanus was not able to check.
Tobin lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tobin looks to land a combination. Africanus sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Tobin scores with a three punch combo!
Africanus is rocked!
Tobin clinches with his opponent.
Tobin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tobin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Africanus's calf.

Tobin lands a body shot.
Tobin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tobin, right into the meat.
A left and a right from Tobin both land. Nice combination.
Tobin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tobin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Africanus eats them both and turns towards Tobin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Tobin lands with a right that hurts Africanus. Africanus looks to clinch but Tobin throws a short knee that drops Africanus. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). James Tobin!
