Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Derek Acevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Fallon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Fallon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Acevedo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Fallon drops his shoulder and cracks Acevedo with a huge uppercut! Acevedo goes down! Can Fallon finish him?

Acevedo is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fallon lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Oh Acevedo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fallon is stalling in the full guard.

Acevedo seems to have got his legs back now.
Fallon is pushing down on Acevedo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Acevedo is fighting to maintain full guard but Fallon has managed to sneak the leg through.

Fallon passes the guard and advances to mount!

Fallon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fallon pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Fallon has hold of Acevedo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Acevedo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Acevedo has given up his back here. Will Fallon look for the submission or keep pounding away?

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Acevedo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fallon on the ground.

Fallon has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Acevedo! Can he survive? No! He's out! Fallon gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
