Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Deere closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Deere landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Monkey is not content to let Deere control the position.
Deere keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Deere throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Deere has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Monkey working to try and regain half guard.
Monkey is bucking up trying to escape but Deere cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Deere is working for a guillotine from mount but Monkey frees his head quite easily.
