Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paavo Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barba Baba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baba has chosen Barbapapa intro as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Barba Baba!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Baba or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Baba shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Paavo Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barba Baba.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Baba moves out of range easily.
Baba takes a kick to the side of the head.
Smith connects with a high kick.
Baba is rocked!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Smith! Baba is out on his feet! Smith rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Baba is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Baba is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
