The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Rankinstein misses
and Iliantovjic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rankinstein misses with a double jab

Derrick Rankinstein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rankinstein. Iliantovjic does a little dance to reset his feet.

Rankinstein throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Iliantovjic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rankinstein is fending him off so far but Iliantovjic persists. Nope, Rankinstein circles away and we're back to standing.

Nice uppercut lands for Rankinstein. That snapped Iliantovjic's head back.
Rankinstein throws a series of punches but Iliantovjic avoids them all with ease.
