Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Christian Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bova changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Robinson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Robinson prevents Bova from improving position.
Bova is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Bova taking a break here but Robinson is having none of it and regains half guard.

Bova is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bova stalling.

Bova is trying to control the action in half guard but Robinson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Robinson is positioning himself well to prevent Bova advancing to mount.
Bova content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Brennan Bova wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Bova shoots and misses
and Robinson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Brennan Bova has been cut.

Robinson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Robinson wants to control but Bova is keeping him busy.
Bova gets back to half guard.

Bova is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Robinson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Robinson's back!

Robinson is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Bova off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Bova's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Brennan Bova.
Bova fails with the takedown

and Robinson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Robinson.

Robinson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bova has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Robinson is looking to defend but Bova has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Robinson! Bova pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Robinson taps out and this one is all over!
