Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bobbertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivo Fabijan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bobbertson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fabijan can pounce on him.

Fabijan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fabijan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Fabijan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bobbertson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fabijan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bobbertson has managed to get both his arms back between Fabijan's legs - danger averted.

Fabijan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bobbertson.

Fabijan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bobbertson eats them both and turns towards Fabijan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Bobbertson gets tackled into the cage by Fabijan. Fabijan maintains the clinch.

Fabijan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bobbertson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fabijan is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Fabijan gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Fabijan gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Fabijan apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Bobbertson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Fabijan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bobbertson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fabijan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bobbertson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
