Gomes's entrance music is Body Count - Necessary Evil. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bad Mojo!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mojo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Bad Mojo has been cut.
Gomes misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Mojo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mauro Gomes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mojo takes a swing at Gomes's ribcage but misses.
Gomes lands a nice hook to Mojo's body. Mojo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mojo throws a right and a left that Gomes avoids nicely.
Mojo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mojo scores with the left hand. Gomes knows he should have avoided that one.
Mojo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gomes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gomes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gomes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Mojo moves into range and clinches up with Gomes.
Gomes presses Mojo against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Mojo misses with the head strike.
Gomes blocking some punches.
Gomes is stalling here.
Gomes throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Nice body punch from Gomes - that landed with a thud.
Mojo looks gassed!
Gomes cracks Mojo with a nice body shot.
Gomes lands with a right to the head.
Gomes lands with a light punch inside.

Gomes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mojo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A nice leg kick lands there from Gomes.
Gomes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gomes wobbles Mojo with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Gomes dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Mojo to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
