Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicola Tesla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jethro Pingshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pingshaw has chosen Heart of a Champion as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jethro Pingshaw!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tesla tries to land a front kick but Pingshaw steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pingshaw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pingshaw instigates a clinch.
Tesla throws a knee to the head but misses.
Pingshaw takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Jethro Pingshaw has been cut.
Tesla throws an elbow that misses.
Pingshaw wants to get back to striking at distance but Tesla won't allow it.
Pingshaw is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pingshaw takes an elbow to the forehead.
Pingshaw on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Tesla with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
With the fighters up against the cage, Tesla throws an elbow but misses.
Pingshaw tries to break free but Tesla pushes him back against the cage.

Pingshaw manages to break the clinch.
Tesla keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tesla avoids the head kick by Pingshaw.
Tesla loads up on a big right hand but Pingshaw slips the punch.
Pingshaw avoids the head kick by Tesla.
Pingshaw throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tesla throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pingshaw.

That has opened up Jethro Pingshaw's cut even more.
Jethro Pingshaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pingshaw cracks Tesla with a right hand to the side of the head.

Tesla gets a clinch.
Pingshaw takes an elbow to the forehead.
Tesla has Pingshaw pressed against the cage, preventing Pingshaw from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Tesla lands a damaging elbow.
Tesla putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Pingshaw in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Pingshaw looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tesla gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Tesla tries to land knees in the clinch but Pingshaw avoids the damage to the body.
Tesla landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Tesla lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Jethro Pingshaw's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Pingshaw takes a knee to the side of the body.
Pingshaw takes an elbow to the forehead.
Pingshaw is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Tesla landing knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tesla lands an elbow just above Pingshaw 's eye.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jethro Pingshaw's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
