The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter scores with a jab.
Alexander ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Potter moves away.
Alexander misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Alexander with a poor takedown
and Alexander takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Potter misses with a straight left.
A punch lands to the side of Alexander 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Potter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Alexander has his takedown stuffed
and Potter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Alexander.
Harry Potter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Alexander.
Alexander walks straight into a right hand from Potter - that's dropped him! Potter jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Alexander from any more punishment! Alexander complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
