Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Jogues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jebidiah Knepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knepp has chosen Amish Paradise as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Knepp has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jogues regains guard immediately.

Knepp postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jogues is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Knepp, into his guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Knepp seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Knepp manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jogues manages to get himself to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Knepp is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jogues stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knepp swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
