Bishop bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lovetron's head backwards.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lovetron jabs Bishop right on the nose. Bishop blinks but takes it well.
Lovetron ducks under a wild hook from Bishop.
Lovetron keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Bishop throws a series of punches but Lovetron avoids them all with ease.

Lovetron tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bishop manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Planet Lovetron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lovetron connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bishop takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The fighters circling - Bishop throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Lovetron goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Lovetron's corner calls for a 1-2. Lovetron obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Lovetron is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bishop had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bishop lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
