Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexy Narmonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexy Narmonov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Junior Silva's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narmonov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Silva throws a body punch but Narmonov moves out of range.
Silva fails with the takedown
enabling Narmonov to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Narmonov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Narmonov gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is pressing down on Narmonov's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Narmonov is one step ahead there.

Narmonov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Narmonov has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.

Narmonov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Silva isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Narmonov stacks Silva on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Narmonov!
Silva avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Narmonov.
Narmonov in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Narmonov postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Silva manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Narmonov wants to pass the guard but Silva is defending well.
Narmonov is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Narmonov tries to pass to full mount but Silva defends it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Narmonov is thwarting Silva's attempts to control the position.

Narmonov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Silva knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Narmonov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Silva with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Silva scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Narmonov manages to mount him!

Narmonov lands a heavy elbow.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Narmonov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Narmonov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Silva tries for a takedown but Narmonov circles away easily
and Narmonov makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Silva has his takedown stuffed
and Narmonov counters with an outside leg kick.
Silva wants to clinch

and Narmonov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva!
Narmonov is landing with some decent strikes but Silva is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Narmonov connects with a bit shot that sees Silva covering up! More strikes from Narmonov and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Narmonov is our winner by TKO!
