The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tamisen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tamisen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tamisen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jackson, pushing him back against the cage.
Jackson jumps guard and drags Tamisen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Tamisen tries to stand but Jackson is controlling from the bottom.
Tamisen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tamisen is sitting in close to Jackson's body. Jackson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tamisen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tamisen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jackson.
