Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jb Nnep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Three Days Grace (Riot) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nnep changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Nnep manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nnep fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away.
Silva punishes Nnep's body with a nice straight punch.
Silva lands a jab to the head.
Silva tries for a takedown but Nnep circles away easily
and Nnep counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nnep keeps the fight on the outside.

Nnep shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Silva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Silva is looking to get back to is feet but Nnep passes into side control.

Silva tries to buck Nnep off but Nnep is having none of it.
Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Nnep stands up and beckons Silva to his feet.

and Nnep counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva!
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nnep. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nnep wants to control the pace but Silva is squirming around nicely.

Nnep uses his free foot to push down on Silva's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Silva.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Nnep swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nnep slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nnep dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Nnep's head and hops out.

and Nnep counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Nnep wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
