Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cup Cake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cake has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Steve simmons has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Cup Cake's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
simmons fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cake will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cake avoids a punch combination nicely.

simmons looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cake!
Cake is breathing heavily.
simmons putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

simmons tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
simmons is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
simmons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cake might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cake seems to have got his legs back now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
simmons is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Cake has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cake!

simmons kicks Cake off and gets to his feet.

simmons fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cake, pushing him back against the cage.

simmons breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Cake tries to keep at a distance but simmons has taken the fight into the clinch.

simmons bucks up and throws Cake to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
simmons moves in looking to clinch but Cake pushes him off.
simmons seems to be stalking Cake here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Cake drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
