The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amoroso misses with a combination
letting Hill counter with a right hand.
Amoroso avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Amoroso throws a leg kick that is checked
and Hill counters with a two punch combo.
Julio Amoroso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hill swings widly with a right hand
and Amoroso counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Hill jabs Amoroso right on the nose. Amoroso blinks but takes it well.
Amoroso tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hill is able to avoid easily.
Hill lands with a right hand.
Amoroso connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hill's hands.

and Hill counters with a nice uppercut.
Amoroso misses with a telegraphed body shot

Hill just misses with a punch to the body.
Amoroso throws a head kick that misses.

Hill feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Amorosos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Amoroso takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Amoroso throws a head kick but Hill moves out of range.

and Amoroso counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Hill takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Amoroso doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hill tests Amoroso's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A head kick misses from Amoroso.
Amoroso misses with a double jab.
Amoroso looks gassed!
Amoroso looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hill blocks a head kick by Amoroso.
Hill avoids a kick to the body.
Hill lands with a shot to the body.
Hill lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Amoroso at a distance.
Hill scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Amoroso shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Amoroso is rocked!
Hill lands with a hook. Amoroso tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Amoroso is still on wobbly legs! Can Hill finish him?

Amoroso gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Hill gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
