Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambassedor tries to clinch up but Bastos circles away and keeps his distance.

Bastos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bastos ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bastos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bastos trying to keep a closed guard but Ambassedor is proving a slippery customer.
Ambassedor trying to control the position from guard on top but Bastos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bastos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ambassedor on the ground.
Bastos is trying to control the position but Ambassedor postures up.
Bastos wants to get back to his feet but Ambassedor is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ambassedor looking to sit in guard and control but Bastos gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bastos decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ambassedor, up you get!
Bastos lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ambassedor's sensitive parts.

Bastos gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ambassedor tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Bastos breaks the clinch.
Ambassedor closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bastos counters with a head kick. That will keep Ambassedor thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Bastos gets a takedown into half guard.
Ambassedor slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Ambassedor wants to control the position but Bastos says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Ambassedor tries to roll over but Bastos keeps him under control.
Bastos content to control rather than advance.

Ambassedor is trying to stand back up but Bastos is controlling him
Bastos tries to stand and escape but Ambassedor is controlling the position.
Bastos prevents Ambassedor from improving his position.

Bastos stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ambassedor fails with the takedown

and Bastos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bastos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bastos closes the distance and clinches.
Bastos really is a fat lump.
Ambassedor jumps guard but Bastos stands there with Ambassedor around his waist. Ambassedor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Boy Bastos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Ambassedor.

Bastos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Bastos counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Bastos scores a nice knee to the body.
Ambassedor fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bastos slows down the pace here.

Bastos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bastos.
Bastos feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ambassedor's calf.

Bastos closes the distance and clinches.
Bastos scores with a knee to the head.

Bastos is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ambassedor can't fight it off and eventually Bastos manages to take the fight to the floor. Ambassedor looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bastos postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bastos decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ambassedor misses with a takedown

and Bastos counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bastos.
Ambassedor looks gassed!
Ambassedor tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bastos just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bastos breaks from the clinch.
Ambassedor closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bastos counters with an outside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ambassedor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bastos counters with a body kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bastos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bastos won't allow Ambassedor to sweep him here.

Ambassedor is looking to sinch up a triangle. Bastos throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ambassedor's body to avoid the submission. Ambassedor has instead reached around Bastos's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ambassedor arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
