Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Austin Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Richards!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Richards moves into the clinch.
Richards blocks an uppercut.
Johnson being controlled against the cage.
Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Richards walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Richards rushes Johnson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Richards ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Richards no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Johnson postures up.
Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Richards wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment.
Richards looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Richards wants to stand but Johnson is controlling the position.
Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Richards is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Richards manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Richards's guard.
Richards is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson stands and throws Richards's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Johnson has an Americana. Richards didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Johnson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Johnson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Austin Johnson!
