Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Becks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Wastler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacob Becks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Wastler!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Becks wants to clinch but Wastler slips to the side
and Wastler counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Jacob Becks has been cut.
Becks looks to clinch
and Wastler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Becks looks to clinch
and Wastler connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Becks moves into range and clinches up with Wastler.
Becks tries to pull guard but Wastler won't allow it.
Wastler misses with an elbow over the top.
Becks tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Wastler drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wastler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Becks walks away with a smile on his face. Wastler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jacob Becks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wastler wants to clinch up but Becks keeps it at a distance.
Becks darts in trying to clinch
and Wastler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Becks tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Wastler counters by moving into the clinch.
Becks fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Becks jumps into guard, dragging Wastler to the mat.
Wastler wants to control from the top but Becks keeps moving.
Becks looking for a sweep. Not yet Becks, not yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Becks not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wastler wants to stand but Becks has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Becks on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Becks tries to get out of the position.
Wastler wants to pass the guard but Becks is keeping the position.
Becks wants to hit a switch here but Wastler passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Becks there!
Wastler controlling the pace for now.
Wastler lands a big shot there that rocks Becks but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Wastler looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Becks really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Wastler postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Becks looks a forlorn figure.
Wastler content just to control the position here.
Becks tries to hold on but Wastler postures up.
Wastler cracks Becks with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Wastler controlling from the full mount.

Wastler stands up from mount. Strange move.

Becks moves into range and clinches up with Wastler.
Becks comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Samuel Wastler has been cut.
Becks has Wastler pressed against the cage, preventing Wastler from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Becks putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Wastler in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Becks has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wastler uses from the top position.
Becks wants to control the position but Wastler says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Becks is breathing heavily.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wastler connects with a nice short shot to Becks's temple.
Becks is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Wastler jumps into side control!

Wastler is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Becks is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Becks is looking to regain half guard here but Wastler keeps moving and retains side control.

Wastler lands a few punches from side control.

Wastler has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Wastler darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wastler works his foot free and advances to mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Samuel Wastler dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Becks leaves Wastler with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Wastler counters by moving into the clinch.
Wastler tries to pull guard but Becks holds him up against the cage and eventually Wastler drops back down to his feet.
Wastler tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jacob Becks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel Wastler.
Wastler gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Becks.

Becks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jacob Becks is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Becks closes the distance looking to clinch

and Wastler counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wastler is looking to work some ground and pound but Becks has wrist control.
Becks is trying to control the position but Wastler postures up.
Wastler wants to pass the guard but Becks is keeping the position.
Becks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wastler works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wastler passes to side control.
Wastler is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Becks will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Wastler wants to control but Becks is keeping him busy.
Becks pushes Wastler away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wastler gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Becks wants to control but Wastler postures up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Wastler has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Jacob Becks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wastler shoots in and bounces Becks off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Becks can't keep his opponent in guard - Wastler advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Becks wants to get back to full guard.
Becks has a hand on Wastler's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Wastler takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Wastler has control of Becks's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Becks regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Becks defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Wastler.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wastler controlling the position easily from mount.
Becks is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Becks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wastler wants to control the pace but Becks is squirming around nicely.
Wastler tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Becks is squirming around, avoiding Wastler's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Samuel Wastler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Becks tries to clinch up

and Wastler decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Becks's guard.
Wastler wants to control from the top but Becks keeps moving.
Wastler stands and throws Becks's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Wastler trying to control the action but Becks is working from the bottom.

Wastler thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Becks has one of Wastler's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Wastler decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Becks is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wastler defends well.
Becks keeping moving, preventing Wastler from controlling successfully.

Wastler stands up over Becks, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
