Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Chris Walter has been cut.
Boyko swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Walter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Boyko misses with a double jab
and Walter counters with a nice uppercut.
Walter shoots in but Boyko avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Walter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boyko tries to avoid it but Walter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boyko to the ground. Boyko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Boyko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walter.
Boyko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Walter.
Boyko tries to bum rush Walter with a series of wild strikes but Walter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

so Walter counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boyko wants to get back to his feet but Walter is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Walter lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Walter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Boyko did well to prevent Walter getting side control.
Walter is just content to waste time from the top position. Boyko takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Boyko is looking to stand up but Walter isn't so interested in that idea.
